Damini-Lightning

Damini was one of the block buster hit in Sunny Deol career, for this movie he has received Film Fare and National Awards. This movie revolves around an innocent girl Damini who faces harassment's from her husband's family members.

Damini (Meenakshi Seshadri) is a dancer. A rich guy Shekhar Gupta (Rishi Kapoor) falls her stunning beauty and proposes to her. His parents also agrees for Shekhar's marriage with Damini. But Shekar other family members like his aunt, uncle brother, brother in law and sister never likes her.

One day Damini notices Urmi who is maid in that house is raped and murdered by Shekhar's brother in law. She says the truth to police in the court. But an intelligent lawyer Chadda (Amrish Puri) tackles case for Shekhar's family and proves that, their family members are innocent and Damini is a mental patient. Damini Escapes from the mental hospital and meets lawyer Govind (Sunny Deol). Govind proves her honesty and innocence.



This movie was biggest hit for that year broken many old records. Raj Kumar Santhoshi was the director for this movie. Paresh Rawal has appeared in another key role. Some powerful dialogues which came from Sunny Deol in the movie attracted audience very much.

Coolie

Coolie was Amitabh Bachchan's film in 1983. In this movie shooting Amitabh Bachchan was injured. That injury took him almost to the end of his life. But he recovered and completed the shooting after few months. Rishi Kapoor played another important role.

The movie about a railway coolie Iqbal (Amitabh Bachchan) who has lost his father and mother in childhood only. But later he finds that, his mother was still alive but lost her memory. He falls in love with Julie (Rati Agnihotri). He kills the person who caused for Iqbal's father's death and mother's memory loss.

Waheeda Rehman played another key role in this movie. Half of the movie revolves around this character only. Manmohan Desai was the director for this movie. Dialogues in this movie were very famous in that time.

Dialogues In Deewar

Deewar is a classic movie in 1970's. Amitabh and Shashi Kapoor played the lead roles. Amitabh acted in a negative shade character and dies at the end of the movie.

This movie was directed by Yash Chopra and was written by Salim Khan and Javed Akthar who worked as writers for Sholay also.


The story is about two brothers Vijay (Amitabh) and Ravi (Sashi Kapoor) who are very poor in their childhood.


Vijay sacrifices his education for his brother's sake and starts his career as a boot polisher to help his mother. He later joins some dacoits and turns into a smuggler in Mumbai.


Ravi becomes a police officer. Neetu Singh (wife of Rishi Kapoor and mother of Ranbir Kapoor) acted as Ravi lover. Dialogues from this movie are still very famous.
