Sharaabi

Sharaabi was super hit movie from Prakash Mehra with Amitabh Bachchan. It was very famous for its classic music and heart touching dialogues. Jaya Prada played female lead role. Pran and Om Prakash played another two key roles. Smita Patil performed an item number for this movie.

Vicky (Amitabh Bachchan) was a spoilt young guy son of a rich business man Amarnath (Pran). Amarnath never takes care about Vicky. He asks Vicky to get married to come out from alchohol and other bad habbit. Vicky reveals his interest to marry a poor girl Meena (Jayapradha). Amarnath fires on Vicky and throws him to streets. How Vicky survived out side, who never seen problems in life until that incident.

Bappi Lahiri gave music to this movie. It was chart buster in those days and gave Filmfare to Bappi Lahiri. And dialogues was penned by Kader Khan.
