Omkara

Omkara was a mafia backdrop film. Ajay Devgan played the title role. Saif Ali Khan, Naseeruddin Shah and Kareena Kapoor were the lead cast for the movie. Vishal Bharadwaj was the director for this successful film. He was inspired by one of William Shakespeare.


This movie was a commercially and critically successful but failed to attract a family audience. Vishal Bharadwaj has taken care about the music and dialogues. His own music is well suited to the film. And in dialogues he followed Ram Gopal Varma style which means short dialogues with complete message.



Bipasha Basu and Konkana Sen Sharma also played important roles in the movie.
