Dialogues In Dilwale Dulhania


Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is an evergreen Indian movie directed by Aditya Chopra. This movie created a sensation in India and also attracted audience in U.S.A and U.K. In 2009 March this movie completed succesfully 700 weeks in a Mumbai theater. This movie was listed in India Times Top 25 films and World 1001 Films You Must See Before You Die.

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are paired opposite each other. Amrish Puri and Mandira Bedi played other important roles. Dialogues and songs in this movie are also one reason for it's huge success. Tujhe Dekha song is still featured daily in many channels. Jatin-Lalit gave music to this film.

And dialogues are written by Javed Siddiqui. This dialogues touched so many young couples.

Famous Dialogues from Silsila


Silsila is a Bollywood hit movie in 1981 which was produced, directed and written by Yash Chopra. Amitabh, Jaya Bachchan, Rekha and Shashi Kapoor played the lead roles. Hari Prasad Chaurasia who is famous with his flute music albums gave music to this film with Shiv Kumar Sharma.

This is a family drama. About two orphan guys Amit Malhotra (Amitabh Bachchan), Shekhar Molhotra(Sashi Kapoor) who face many struggles in their childhood. Shekhar enters into Air Force and Amit turns into a writer. Shekhar plans to marry Shobha (Jaya Bachchan).


Amit falls for Chandini (Rekha). Shekhar passes away in an accident. When Amit comes to know the fact that Shobha is pregnant because of his brother he marries her. Chandini leaves him and marries Dr V.K.Anand (Sanjeev Kumar). But later Amit starts an affair with Chandini.


Movie runs in different phases. Yash Chopra concentrated mostly on dialogues and some heart touching dialogues are there in this movie.

Dialogues In Deewar


Deewar is a classic movie in 1970's. Amitabh and Shashi Kapoor played the lead roles. Amitabh acted in a negative shade character and dies at the end of the movie.


This movie was directed by Yash Chopra and was written by Salim Khan and Javed Akthar who worked as writers for Sholay also.

The story is about two brothers Vijay (Amitabh) and Ravi (Sashi Kapoor) who are very poor in their childhood.


Vijay sacrifices his education for his brother's sake and starts his career as a boot polisher to help his mother. He later joins some dacoits and turns into a smuggler in Mumbai.


Ravi becomes a police officer. Neetu Singh (wife of Rishi Kapoor and mother of Ranbir Kapoor) acted as Ravi lover. Dialogues from this movie are still very famous.

Andaaz Apna Apna

Andaaz Apna Apna is a Bollywood superhit comedy movie. Salman Khan and Aamir Khan played the lead characters. It was released in 1994, directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi . The comic scenes in this movie still attract people. Paresh Rawal, Karishma Kapoor, Raveena Tandon appeared in other lead characters.

Sholay Dialogues


Sholay is a evergreen Indian movie. It was released in 1975 it established Amitabh Bachchan as a Superstar in Bollywood. It gave the best villain Amjad Khan to Indian screen. Dharmendra, Sanjeev Kumar and Jaya Bachchan also starred in this movie.




Director Ramesh Sippy took care about each shot. Chambal Valley is the back drop for this movie. But most of the scenes to represent the village in Chambal were shot in a village called Ramnagaram near Bangalore ,Karnataka




According to that place they created the costumes and characters.This dialogues were also based on the dialect of the Chambal Valley people. The dialogues in this movie were very simple but situational. These situational dialogues attracted people very much. Not only the lead characters but the villain character dialogues were also very good.





The villain character Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan)'s dialogue "Arre O Samba" is very famous.
